What will the world witness on Nov. 12, 2011?
The world will stop, for everyone will witness the battle of the century. Locals from the Philippines will again literally stop working and watch their Hero’s fight. And every time Manny Pacquiao fights, crime rates from every part of the nation drop to 0% on that day. Meanwhile, Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico is thirsty for a finalization of who’s the best fighter.
Juan Manuel Marquez, finally got his desired third fight against rival, Manny Pacquiao, scheduled on Nov. 12, 2011at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It was back in May 8 of 2004 when the two met in the ring for the world featherweight title championships. The fight ended in a draw which after 4 years, Manny Pacquiao decided to have a get back against Marquez for the Super Featherweight Titles. Paquiao-Marquez 2 was scheduled on March 8 of 2008 where Pacquiao rained victorious from a controversial win by unanimous decision.
Three years have passed since the second match-up, and the question is… the Manny Paquiao whom Marquez very want to defeat after 3 long years; is he still the same old Pacquiao whom he could easily counter or a very much different Manny Pacquiao?
With that 3 years span after their last bout, Pacquiao have proven many that he is the Pound-per-pound king, and that led Marquez to challenge Mayweather Jr. to prove he is the better man, but unfortunately, Marquez was knocked out on that bout against Mayweather Jr. Manny Pacquiao faced and won against the big names of the boxing world ; Oscar De La Hoya on December of 2008, Ricky Hatton on May of 2009, Miguel Cotto on Novemver of 2009, Clottey and Margarito on 2010 and Shane Mosley on 2011. Finally, the much awaited, Pacquiao-Marquez III is coming up.
Both are great warriors and both are hall of famers, but who will rain victorious on the ring on Nov. 12 and end the dramatic trilogy? The finalization of the upcoming event will end at the same place which started 7 years ago.
